August Blues Derby Day
Join us on Saturday August 22rd from 6AM - 6PM for a fun and competitive day of beach fishing. The Derby is an Island Wide Event and we will set up a tent on the Beach that will serve as our headquarters.
Prizes
When you register for the August Blues Tournament you are automatically entered into the Derby. All catches will be eligible for any of the August Blues Tournament Prizes. The Derby will award separate prizes for the first and last bluefish caught, the longest bluefish (Brufish), shortest bluefish and the most number of bluefish caught by an individual during the Derby. There will be both an Adult and Junior division to compete in.
Games
We are also setting up competition for the longest cast and the most accurate cast in the adult and junior divisions. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. This will take place on the beach.
More
We will have a tent set up on the beach and we will be providing food and refreshments throughout the day. We will start the morning off with free Donuts and coffee. We will have the grill going throughout the day serving Hot Dog, Hamburgers and other grilled items. In addition there will be water and soft drinks.
Family Time!
This is a great opportunity to get Juniors out on the beach fishing. A perfect day to compete for the FAMILY PRIZE
